Silvano Apparel – Fly High “Pigeon”

I sure hope Courtney Cox and Jeff Staple get along well together? No, not Courtney Cox the actor. Courtney Cox as in the originator of Project 51 in Coconut Grove and Silvano Apparel, a sneaker spot and a footwear line.

Courtney has presented us with a look at one of Silvano Apparel’s upcoming Summer 2010 releases known as the Fly High “Pigeon”. When first previewing the high top silhouette the shoes instantly appeared to us to be mimicked after the Supra Skytop, judging by it’s heal panels which are cut and laid out in the exact style of the Skytops. A what is becoming a standard rubber outsole sits below the grey and orange upper. On the counter heel is a well known graphic which has become the staple of Staple, the brand created by Jeff Staple. Damn that’s a lot of staple’s. We’re sure the iconic pigeon which Staple is known around the world by is one of Jeff’s many trademarks so I sure do hope some permission was granted here, although I honestly do find it hard to believe. Somebody please prove me wrong.

According to the details sent to use by Silvano Apparel the Fly High “Pigeon” is set to launch in August 2010, that is unless Jeff Staple says otherwise.
