Will the fakes ever stop? Sekure D, a sneaker customizer who we support to the fullest here on Sneaker Obsession has come across a few things online which he isnt all to happy about. A few sneakers which are an obvious mock to the work of Sekure have popped up online for sale. As a customizer you cherish your designs since they are something you have put a lot of time and effort into. You put a lot of thought into making something that is truly one of a kind, something which you can say is your own idea and your own design. To see your work duplicated can bring a smile but at the same time it can make you furious. Not only are the sneakers fake, but whoever made them literally butchered the original designs. The ‘Labyrinth’ Air Force 1 lows which were mocked are nothing short of hideous and a lot of details were not followed through either such as the blue stitching on the midsole and the black Air logo also on the midsole. Sekure we are sorry you had to find something like this online but at the same time we applaud you. For your designs to reach a level to where they are starting to be duplicated says something about your work. You have now reached the level of Nike, Jordan and all the major companies who are attacked by the fake market. Just think, you can look back at your work someday and be like “These were some of my most popular designs, they were even being duplicated thats how popular they were”. One last thing, when buying custom sneakers PLEASE, and i repeat, PLEASE only make purchases directly through the customizer. Its not a Sekure D custom unless its straight from Sekure D himself and that goes for ever other customizer out there. Go to the source for the best results.
