With opening day of the 2010 MLB season creeping up on us, Jordan Brand has released the first colorway of Team Jordan member Derek Jeter’s latest signature trainers.
Known as the Jordan Jeter Throwback, the shoe seamlessly integrates nine different trainers from Jeter’s most memorable games into a 5/8th cut, high performance baseball trainer. The upper features a combo of premium leather and synthetic materials in black, with a quarterly overlay system to deliver a lock-down performance fit, and a molded heel providing flexible support. White contrast stitching accents the dark upper, while a silver metal Jumpman logo is fastended to the heel and Jeter’s #2 is fixed to the heel on a rubber baseball. On the bottom half the Throwback sports a white Phylon midsole for lightweight cushioning to help Derek Jeter and consumers alike train longer, harder and faster, while a solid black rubber outsole, which uses both expanded herringbone, and nub traction patterns, helps keep them in control no matter no surface.
If you’re interested in this Black/Metallic Silver/White version of the Jordan Jeter Throwback you can get yourself a pair through Finish Line for $100.
