Having taken a look at the Size? x New Balance 557″Estates Pack” yesterday we’re now going to dip in with a look at another New Balance collaboration, this time on the NB 574. Teaming up with a familiar collaborator who’s already wrapped up a few projects with the brand, New Balance reached out to Roberto Crivello and Savania Davies-Keiller of DDCLab to have the fashion technology brand work up a new 574 for the season.
In what appears to be fairly simple compared to the co-branded 3M 420’s the duo released in 2008, the 574 sports a predominantly blue suede upper with a high tech metallic fabric on the toe, tongue and around the ankle, and black leather on the heel tab. Accents of red appear on the inner lining and heel tab cap while a snakeskin like material appears on the New Balance logo and alongside the blue fabric around the collar. Although not as much an eye-popper as the previously mentioned 420’s, the DDCLAB x New Balance is fresh none the less and has a unique style all of it own.
Since February the sneakers have been arriving at Asian retailers, with Sneakersnstuff being one of the latest to get a round of sizes.
