Nick Dompierre x DC Shoes “ND1″
Posted by Joe on Sunday, March 21

DC recently signed Nick Dompierre to a multi-year contract which has the East Coast powerhouse joining Danny Way, PJ Ladd, Josh Kalis, Rob Dydrek, Ryan Smith and Colin McKay on the DC Shoes Skate Team.
The young buck hailing from New Bedford, Mass, who by the way is the only skater in the world to have a burrito sponsor, No Problemo Burrito Shop, has been steadily logging magazine covers and contest wins for the past few years. We’ve watched him grow in skate videos such as Real’s Roll Forever and Life and Times, and now Dompierre is ready to make his mark again with his very first signature shoe, the ND1.
Built from ground zero, the ND1 is the newest signature sneaker to the DC line. With a design inspiration stemming from Nick’s passion for racing, the metal eyelets resemble the racing slicks as well as the rims on his 1987 Chevy Camaro Iroc-Z drag car. The newly built cup sole has been cored out and filled with EVA foam, creating a much lighter shoe, and Impact G in the heel rounds and forefoot of the ND1 add the impact protection Nick needs to take down big gaps.
No exact release date for Nick Dompierre’s ND1 has been announced yet, but the shoes are part of DC’s Fall 2010 Collection so they should be arriving at retailers within the coming months.
