Nike Air More Uptempo – 2010 Release

Before Scottie Pippen’s signature line was born at Nike he was known to wore and endorsed the Air More Uptempo, a sneaker which a lot of people assume is part of Scottie’s signature line due to the fact it wore it quite often, including in ’96 when he did a stint with the Olympic Dream Team in a pair that had his #8 emboridered on the heel.

Some of you may be to young to remember those days, or maybe you’re from that era but just (sadly) didn’t have an interest in sneakers at the time. I however remember the shoes very clearly and for those who don’t you’ll have a chance to experience them as if we’re back in the 90’s as Nike is preparing to retro the sneakers later this year. Official release dates and all that jazz is still unclear at this time but thanks to TSG we’ve got some catalog scans of the shoes in two colorways. Unfortunately they’re just colored drawings and don’t provide us with a look at the actual detail put into the sneakers but at least now we can confirm that the Nike Air More Uptempo will return.

When we know more you’ll know more.
