It’s only been a short time since previews of the Air Jordan Alpha 1 appeared online and models started releasing in stores, the last being the Tinker Hatfield Edition which Nike’s Vice President of Innovation Design draped up, and we have already seen quite the selection of color schemes expected to drop throughout the year. It’s as if every couple of days a new Air Jordan Alpha 1 surfaces, whether it be a PE model or an upcoming release set for the general public. As you know this can be good and bad. While many appreciate the large selection of color variations there’s also a great deal of people who hate how certain models are produced in “to many colorways.” Take for example the Air Jordan 1. While it may be one of Jordan’s most famous sneakers there’s a vast amount of people who hate seeing a classic as such being produced in an endless amount of colorways, most of which in their opinions “are horrible and ruin a classic sneaker”.
Wherever you stand on this doesn’t really matter cause regardless of what you and I think Jordan Brand is gonna do what they do best and slaughter us with colorway after colorway after colorway. While there are bound to be a few which turn our stomachs there’s sure to be a ton which turn out to be pretty dope. Take for example this White/Black-University Blue version of the Air Jordan Alpha 1.
If you can dig it watch for the shoes to hit Jordan Brand retailers later this month on March 15th, 2010 for a retail price of $125.
