Artist/Designer Spoonman just finished up a new pair of Nike Air Max 1 customs. They were an old used pair of sneakers that Spoonman did up for a friend of his. Instead of throwing the old sneakers away which were starting to turn yellow, they were placed in the hands of Spoonman to work his magic with very few demands, besides for being black with a purple swoosh. Spoonman started there and then applied a nice detailed design by hand in black, grey, purple and touches of light blue. Its sort of an antique/floral looking design which came out really nice and adds a touch of class to the Air Max 1. From a distance you may not really notice what the design is all about but with a more detailed look it really takes its form.
