In honor of the 2009 Future Sole design competition D’Wayne Edwards and Jordan Brand put together a limited run of Air Jordan 1 High’s to be distributed to a handful of friends, family, and sponsors of the Future Sole competition. The sneakers feature a predominantly Tan leather upper which consists of a net-pattern Scotchlite-style reflective material which doesn’t become all to visible until you take a closer inspection of the shoes and allow the light to hit the material at just the right angle. A touch of White is applied to the Swoosh, around the ankle and on the midsole which sits above a Red outsole. It’s unfortunate these won’t ever be released to the general public and have only been produced in a limited run of 55 pairs for friends and family cause we’re sure some AJ1 heads out there would love to get their hands on these classic and fresh Jays.
