The days in which Greedy Genius was referred to as a company simply ripping off the designs of others are long gone. Sure the brand has used inspiration in the past from sneakers such as the Air Jordan V, and some people may never be able to forgive them for that, but Greedy Genius now pushes the envelope to the max in the luxury footwear department with some of the most innovative designs the globe has seen.
One such design is the Greedy Genius Epi Low we showed you yesterday which the brand will be debuting later this year as part of their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Along with those Greedy Genius also whipped up this new hiking boot dubbed Brutus for all the trekkers out there who like to do a little hiking and are interested in something other then your usual bland hiking boots.
Luckily we managed to get our hands on some photos of the Greedy Genius Brutus to share with you so you too can get a little taste of what Greedy Genius is cooking up. Two colorways of the Brutus is displayed here, one featuring a Black/Red color scheme with textured leather and Caviar leather throughout the upper and the other sporting a Olive/Brown colorup with textured leather and Waxed coated canvas. A rubber Greedy Genius patch is seen fastened to the tongue of both colorways with a small Greedy Genius hang tag on the lateral side of the upper.
We haven’t an official release date just yet but we’ll be sure to keep you posted on any updates. Greedy Genius should be showing these off at S.L.A.T.E. in Las Vegas next week so maybe soon some more photos will surface.
Note: We were contacted by Greedy Genius and asked if we could remove the photos due to the fact they haven’t even been shown to industry insiders yet. Out of the love and respect we have for the brand, and the industry we felt it was our duty to comply with the request. When we get the go ahead we will provide you with the images. For those who saw it consider it an exclusive limited time
