Way back in September of 2009 we provided you with some details and a few catalog scans of the DC Life x Sixpack – Spring 2010 Double Label Project being released this year. Now that the sneakers have officially been released we can give you a much closer look at what was worked up for Sixpack’s third and final installment in the DC Life Double Label Project.

For this seasons collaboration two distinctive DC silhouettes, the Admiral and Sector 7, were recruited and are accompanied by premium apparel consisting of two t-shirts labeled, Oneness and Marble & Ink, and a Six Years fitted New Era Cap. All designed by graphic artist PMKFA.

Sober and monochromatic, the designs by PMKFA lure you into its psychedelic insides.  Patterns are based on both the obvious and the not-so-obvious elements of street culture. Turn the shoes upside down and get an insight in PMKFA’s vision of street-entrepreneurship, taking lessons from 90’s hip hop and the idea that life is like a chess game: creativity, the need to always stay sharp, and the goal of making your next move your best move.

Click here for a closer look at both the Admiral and Sector 7 part of the DC Life x Sixpack – Spring 2010 Double Label Project, as well as to take a look at the New Era 59Fifty included in the collection.
