With the release of the much talked about Nike Zoom Kobe V “Bruce Lee” happening this weekend there couldn’t be a better time for images of these promotional posters to surface.
As you should know by now the release date for the Bruce Lee inspired Zoom Kobe V has been pushed back for the second time. Yes, we know some shops have already gotten the sneakers, and have already sold them, which has confused a whole bunch of people as to when the official release date is so let us clear it up now while we’re here.
The sneakers were originally suppose to release on January 16th. That’s what Nike told us from the get go but for whatever reason three days before the release Nike pushed the date back to January 22nd. That didn’t last long though cause 2 days before the expected January 22nd release Nike made another announcement that the shoes have been pushed back. Two release date changes in the timespan of a week can get a little confusing. Now the official release is set for this coming weekend, Saturday, February 6th at House of Hoops and other select Nike distributors.
Now that we got that clear, back to the posters. In these promotional posters which Nike produced Kobe Bryant is seen standing in various sparring positions with graphics and text added in to resemble movie posters. The sam style posters, and the same sparring positions which Bruce Lee once took when posing for his movie posters. It hasn’t been mentioned whether these posters will be released alongside the sneakers or if they have just been produced for Nike’s viral marketing campaign. If your planning on showing up to House of Hoops this coming weekend we’re sure you’ll find out what the story is then.
