Some of you may recall how way back in July of 2009 we gave you a preview of a Glow-In-The-Dark Reebok Cortney Mid designed in collaboration with Feride Uslu, the founder of USLU Airlines. We were aware that Feride teamed up with Reebok to design atleast 2 sneakers, however the Cortney Mid was the only model we had a preview of at the time. Thanks to Dunk.cn we can now give you a look at the second pair of Reebok’s that Feride Uslu designed under her USLU Airlines brand.
As a counter opt to the Cortney Mid which comes to life at night Feride flipped the script and designed the Retro Pop Mid in such a way where it’ll blind anybody within a 20foot radius. Used throughout the entire upper of the sneakers are little reflective squares with a thick white leather strap crisscrosses over the laces. Adding a bit of color to the sneakers is a touch of red on the inner lining and a portion of the tongue tag with white pretty much blending in on the Reebok Vector logo and sole unit. To go along with the sneakers Feride and Reebok also designed the box with a repeating pattern of one of Feride’s signature logos which was also used in the same fashion on the insoles.
No official release date has been announced by the sneakers are part of the Reebok Spring 2010 Collection so they should be releasing within the coming weeks.
