Last year Nike brought back the Nike Air Total Max Uptempo, a sneaker which could once be seen on the feet of NBA superstars such as Tim Duncan and Reggie Miller during the mid to late 90’s. The first colorway to release was the OG Black/Volt version followed by the release of the White/Midnight Navy version, both of which originally released back in 1997.
Keeping the Air Total Max Uptempo alive Nike’s going to be releasing two more color schemes as part of their Spring 2010 Collection, one of them being this Black/Varsity Red model which is currently arriving at retailers. This particular version boasts a black leather and nubuck upper with varsity red applied to the Nike Swoosh, outsole and within the visible air unit.
If your interested you can scoop these up now through Sneaker Bistro. If your not into this specific colorway keep your eyes open for the Black/Silver version which Tim Duncan use to wear back in the day.
