At just a mere 28yrs old Roger Federer is arguably one of the greatest tennis players of all-time and has had the honor to be inducted into The International Tennis Hall of Fame alongside legends such as Jimmy Connors, Steffi Graf, Fred Perry and the rest of the greats over the years. As you may know Roger Federer is also a Nike sponsored athlete and collaborates with the company year after year on collections consisting of apparel, various accessories such as headbands and sweatbands, and of course sneakers.
Some will say a skill like Federer’s comes naturally. However any expert will tell you an unbelievable talent such as his comes with years of training, which is why Nike produced this exclusive Trainer 1 for Roger Federer to train in while he prepares for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in April. The Trainer 1 features a color scheme which Nike has taken straight from the flag of Switzerland, Roger’s native country. The shoes consist of red and white upper with a touch of grey on the mid-section and the Swizz flag stitched in along the heel. No details have been announced on whether or not the Nike Trainer 1 “Roger Federer PE” will be released but we suspect they’ll be exclusive to Roger just like how the Nike Trainer 1 “Tiger Woods” was probably produced exclusively for Tiger.
