Releasing high school inspired colorways to honor of the the nations most elite basketball programs has become a tradition for Nike and LeBron James. The latest school to be honored is Christ The King High School in Queens, NY which Lamar Odom, Jayson Williams and a few other NBA athletes attended before hitting the Pros.

For the Air Max LeBron VII “Christ The King” Nike and LeBron obviously went with a color scheme inspired by that of the school. Burgundy is used for the upper portion of the shoes with gold accenting the Flywire and outlining the Nike Swoosh. The lower half of the shoes make use of white with another hit of burgundy inside the Air Max unit. Gold-ish colored laces match up with the gold lace holders and L23 medallion and “Christ The King” printed in white on the inner side of the upper lets you know which school this Nike Air Max LeBron VII pays tribute too.
