Last year during the Summer of 2009 previews of two Nike Huarache 2010 colorways surfaced online, followed by some shots of a few PE models later in the year. Now after 7 months of catching our first look at the sneakers they have finally hit distributors.
The Huarache 2010 maintains somewhat of the same silhouette as the previous model released in 2009, however it brings forth some new features and some old features. The old features start with the the addition of a cut out on the upper, a feature which appeared on the 2008 model and earlier versions of the Huarache’s but didn’t appear on last years version. The cut out is however slightly smaller then that on the previous models. The new features come in to play with the sole unit, which consists of Zoom Air technology and is completely unique compared to any previous versions. There’s also some neoprene bubbles added to the sock. To debut the (non PE) release of the new Huarache 2010 Nike has dropped two colorways, white/red/black and a solid black “murdered out” version, with other colorups to come at some point throughout the year.
