The other day we reported on the announcement of the Reebok x Armani EA7 Collection. At the time we were without images but now thanks to the crew at Reebok we can now give you a little preview of what’s to come from this much talked about collaboration.
From what we know at this time there will be a few different models of sports shoes, for men and women in the Reebok x Armani EA7 Collection; the Mega Chic, Mega Pump, Vintage Pump, Vintage Runner, Runner 7 and the Runner Pump 7. There will also be an appareal line.
Seen here are two of the models, the Mega Chic and the Runner 7. The Mega Chic is a bizarre looking hybrid which fuses a pair of dress shoes with a pair of running shoes. The silhouette of the shoe carries that of a pair of formal shoes, with a nice low cut ankle and a slightly higher heel like you would see on a pair of runners. The obvious give away though, and what is sure to be the key feature on whether or not consumers accept the design is the visible Reebok DMX air unit in the heel. The black colorup of the Mega Chic seen here is expected to be the only color style to become available.
The Runner 7 on the other hand looks like your typical athletic running shoes. Their seen here in what is said to be a few color variations created for both men and women. This particular version sports a white base accented with black and just a slight hint of yellow. The Reebok EA7 Giorgio Armani printed across the side of the upper in silver, and the addition of Reebok’s HexRide technology finishes up what seems to be a simple yet clean pair of Runners. These will be available for both men and women, in a few different color variations,
Follow the jump to check out a solo shot of both the Mega Chic and Runner 7 and stay tuned for further details involving the Reebok x Armani EA7 Collection.
