Futura and Nike have been making some noise lately with the Nike Air Force 1 “Be True” Pack, a line up Air Force One Lows and Highs sporting the signature graphics of Futura. The pack is set to see another release next month in February when Nike drops a “Be True” Air Force 1 High Supreme in Matte Silver. The word is though Futura and Nike haven’t just been working on Air Force 1’s. According to reports from the rumor mill Futura also designed these Nike Blazers featuring some sort of black and white abstract pattern throughout the upper. The tongue appears to use no sort of tongue tag, which is rather unusual, specially for a Futura release seeing as how the AF1’s have all featured Futura printed across the tongue tag. Across the heel panel instead Nike is seen printed in a graffiti like font.
We can’t confirm 100% at this time that Futura actually has anything to do with these Blazers but PickYourShoes is currently selling these sneakers as so, and a few other retailers have reported that these were designed by Futura such as BNYC. Take it for what it’s worth at this time, if we get concrete evidence or hear future details we will be sure to keep you informed.
