#2 Air Jordan Retro 11 “Space Jam” – Did you expect these to be #1? We’re sure many of you did. To be honest, they were close, but not close enough to be the most popular article of the year. There is no doubt denying the Space Jam Jordans are one of the highlighted releases of 2009, and will be remembered for years. Upon the release the sneakers pretty much sold out nationwide within minutes. The shops were lined up with crowds of people in hopes to get a pair and every online Jordan Brand distributor had their servers crashed by the masses who flocked to the sites to try and order the Space Jams. It was 9yrs since the Space Jams released, with this round coming at a price of $175, $50 more then the pairs back in 2000, but that didn’t stop the fans during the Christmas season when many are strapped for cash after buying presents for family members. Defiantly a memorable release, and one sure to be talked about for years.
