#8 Kryptonate Nike Foamposite Lite – Along with all the memorable sneaker releases in 2009 the Kryptonate Foamposite Lite is one that defiantly won’t be forgotten. During the 2009 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Nate Robinson took on Dwight Howard during the finals and as expected Dwight Howard broke out a Superman cape and portrayed his Superman persona. In response Nate answered back with the Kryptonate Foamposite Lite, a neon green sneaker with a clever name play on Kryptonite, Superman’s weakness. And as Nate displayed, the sneakers defiantly helped him overcome Superman as by the end of the night he was announced the winner of the 2009 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Shortly after appearing on Nate’s feet a few pairs popped up on eBay, with a limited release following soon after at House of Hoops retailers.
