2009 was defiantly a great year for just about every company out there. We saw plenty of new silhouettes hit the market in a slew of colorways and were lucky enough to get quite a nice lineup of retro releases of some classics like the Pennys, the Griffs, the Grant Hills, the Pipps and many more. There were also more Jordan 1 colorways then one could imagine, to the point where Jordan Brand began to seem extremely desperate for money.

The order in which you see these sneakers listed comes from our stats and what you guys viewed more then anything else posted this year. The results you may not agree with at all, but once again the results are based on the pageviews of each and every article and what was the most popular as far as views, nothing more, nothing less.

#10 Air Jordan Retro 3 “True Blue” – Besides for the Space Jams the True Blue Air Jordan Retro 3 had to be one of the most popular Air Jordan releases of 2009. When images of the sneakers surfaced online readers throughout the world went as far as calling them there next “grails”, a pair of Jays they just couldn’t go without. For a few months preview after preview hit the web, but we were all stumped on as to when the sneakers would actually release. When release details finally did emerge many were in a slump as it was reported the True Blue’s would only be an international release. Needless to say it left many long time Jordan consumers pissed off, but atleast they made up for it when they came through with the Space Jams at the end of the year.
