A few days ago with showed you the adidas Phantom II ‘Chicago Bulls’, a shoe released exclusively through the Chicago based boutique Leaders. Now we present you with some images of a Philadelphia 76ers adidas Phantom II.
The 76ers version sports a complete deep blue upper with the slightest accents of white near the mid-sole, on the adidas logo on the lateral side of the upper and on the Philadelphia 76ers branding on the heel of the shoes. Although we don’t have a clear picture of the heel at this time it appears as if the heel of the right sneaker says 76ers. Not quite sure what the left says, as i would imagine Philadelphia is a little bit on the long side to print on the heel. Wrapping up the design is a 76ers logo on the tongue tag.
To our understanding there are 6 different versions of the Phantom II, which each one representing a different NBA team. Each team will coincide with the city where the sneakers are released, for example the Bulls version which was released exclusively through Leaders. For the 76ers model adidas Basketball shipped the sneakers over to one of Philly’s premier boutiques, UBIQ. UBIQ also informs us that adidas sent over a few basketballs as well, finished in the same blue and signed by Jrue Holiday. The ball comes free with the purchase of the sneakers which are available in-store now at UBIQ’s Walnut St location.
