After talking with a lot of shop managers throughout the states it has been brought to my attention that the Space Jams are not going to be as readily available in many areas as people suspect. Yes they are a GR release, and yes they will be releasing in sizes for Men, Kids, Toddlers and Infants, however a lot, and i mean A LOT of distributors will be getting a limited amount of sneakers. Jordan Brand has produced a tone of sneakers but the GR release is putting them in just about every single Jordan Brand retailer within the country, no shop will be over looked and each shop will get a little something something. Some more then others of course.
Numerous distributors have reported they are getting 1 pair of Space Jams in each available size, some other shops reporting 2 pairs in each size. There are of course shops who will be getting more as well, say 4-5 pairs in each size, the key is to find out exactly what distributors in your area will have that many pairs. Keep in mind that just about ever employee out there is going to be picking up atleast one pair in their size, so right off the bat this cuts the quantity available to the public on release date even more limited. Before the sneakers even go on sale in the stores there is a good chance your size is already in the hands of an employee. You don’t wanna show up at a spot at midnight on the day of just to find out that spot only got 1 size in your size and some employee got em already cause by the time you get elsewhere they will be long gone.
If you have any hopes of getting the Jammie Jams please visit your retailer today and find out whats up. Every manager should know by now what they have, or what they will be getting. They should be able to tell you how many pairs are available in each size, and don’t be scared to ask em up front if the employees already snatched em up. Don’t blame em for it though, cause you know you too would do the same given the chance. Get your options together people cause on December 23rd when the Space Jams release things are going to get HECTIC out there. Best of luck to you all out there and be safe. Don’t catch a charge!!
