We present you with a closer look at the Air Jordan 1 Alpha, a newer Air Jordan 1 mockup designed in honor of the the sneakers 25th Anniversary. As previously reported the AJ 1 Alpha uses the base of the classic AJ1 with some new additions  such as a Phylon midsole, a Zoom Air unit and a cushioned lining around the ankle. We have gotten confirmation that there will be atleast three different colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Alpha in 2010, a white/black/varsity red version, a white/black/university blue colorway and this Bred edition show here in black/varsity red.

The Bred version shown here is expected to release in January with the other two colorway in March. What i really like about these sneakers in the insoles. Both are black and in red one says “The first to bring color to the game” with the other simply saying “Thank You”. Theres also a nice “Since 1985″ hit on the heel of both sneakers.
