When i first laid eyes on the adidas Originals Highrise over on Hypebeast i instantly feel in love. I pretty much grew up on adidas when i was a kid, they were a cheap but stylish shoes and coming from a family who didn’t have much extra money adidas became like my staple footwear when i was a little tyke. My collection is very diverse today, and it still maintains a nice balance of adidas sneakers, and i can already tell you the adidas Originals Highrise shown here will be added to the collection ASAP.
This hi-top sneaker from adidas is one of the newest silhouettes which is expected to hit the States in 2010.Useless i am not a big fan of straps, unless it’s just a simple ankle strap like that on the AF1 but what adidas Originals did here with the Highrise is defiantly something i can work with. The models seen here sport premium leather uppers, one in grey and the other in white, with a snake emboss on the ankle collar and around the toe-box and eye-stays on the white version, with nubuck swapped for the snake emboss on the grey version. The branding on the sneaker is very minimal with a simple Trefoil logo on the tongue and perforated detailing to represent the 3-Stripes.
The adidas Originals Highrise is expect to release in the US during January 2010 but for those of you living in the UK, France, Germany or The Netherlands you can get them now through adidas.com.
