DontEvenTrip Custom Blazers
I saw these over on the DontEvenTrip website and literally thought they could of been an official Nike release. The work on these custom Nike Blazers looks as if it came straight from a Nike factory, and that wasnt so hard to believe once i read what customizer designed them. DontEvenTrip reached out to Sharp020 to create a pair of custom Nike Blazer sneakers which included the use of the three things he loves most. Himself, the art of graffiti artist Banksy and one of his favorites shoes the Beautiful Losers. The custom sneakers include the use of black velvet, red vinyl, fur, canvas and 3m materials. The sneakers were covered in black canvas with ‘Dont Even Trip” wrapping around the heels in white, the Nike swoosh was stitched up in red vinyl and the lace tabs along with the tab going down of the heel of the sneaker were covered in fresh black velvet. A patch was added to the back of each sneaker which includes a quote, two quotes which happen to be a way of life for DontEvenTrip. The left sneaker says “Information Is Not Knowledge” and the right one says “Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge”. Think about that one. The lining was covered in fur and Sharp020 designed a custom insole for DontEvenTrip to include a reference to Banksy. As with most of the work by Sharp020 the tongue on these customs is made from scratch and they include a custom DontEvenTrip tag. Oh yea, lets not forget that Sharp020 has also added a S02 tag on one sneaker and a DET tag on the other. Many props go out to Sharp020 for a clean job on these custom Blazers and congrats to DontEvenTrip for a nice pickup to go with the Beautiful Loser Blazers.
