If im not mistaken, I think this is the first official book geared soley towards custom sneakers. Custom Kicks, the book, is a project put together by MAKI, which happens to be a partnership between Kim Smits and Matthija Maat. Kim and Matthija have taken the time to reach out to sneaker customizers from all over the world to bring the sneakerhead community a book they should really enjoy. MAKI invited over 150 artists to showcase their work in this paperback book. The book displays tons of colorful photos and gives you a few tips and tricks to creating your own custom one of a kind sneakers as well. I have been waiting for a book like this for a long time and i know its defiantly on my wish list. A chance to view custom sneakers from every end of the globe and to view the ideas and creations of all these artists in one book is something i am defiantly looking forward to reading.
