To the appreciation of many of us Nike retro’d the Air Griffey Max 1 earlier this year and has since released three color schemes, the classic black/white/fresh water, the much loved white/varsity blue and an all black version.
The Air Griffey Max 1 colorups won’t be stopping there though. Lined up for a release sometime in 2010 is this grey/silver/teal version. The sneakers feature an entirely grey upper with metallic silver on the Nike Swoosh across the toe, and teal/turquoise accents on the laces, tongue tab and acting as an outline around the silver Swoosh on the heel. The midsole is white with a black outsole and silver accents around the visible air unit.
The black/white/fresh water colorway of the Air Griffey Max 1 has got to be my personal favorite but Nike has defiantly hit a spot with me with this newly designed colorway.
