DC Release Three New Technologies For Performance Skate Shoes

As part of their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection DC Shoes will be introducing three brand new technologies for performance skate shoes. These new innovative features are sure to set standards for skateboarding sneakers for both DC and every skate shoe manufactuer out there.
First up is the Internal Lace System. Thanks to abrasive griptape, laces are usually the first things to blow out. For Spring/Summer 2010 the lace holes have been tucked away, allowing further protection from ollies. The covered eyelets allow more time on board and less time dealing with laces.
Next is the DGT 123. DGT 123 is DC’s newest development in footwear grip technology. While the original Dynamic Grip Technology™ used the same type of rubber, engineered to different hardnesses for a new level of durability and board feel, the new DGT 123™ takes that concept to a higher level by using different types of rubbers to maximize its effect on the board. DC footwear designers sourced unique rubbers for each part of the sole and created the ultimate combination of board grip and durability: soft grippy rubber in the toe and ollie areas, medium rubber in the arch, and hard durable rubber in the heel.
Lastly is the introduction of Mega Suede™. Mega Suede™ is the evolution of Super Suede™, DC’s upper material that revolutionized suede, the material of choice for skateboarders. Three years of research has resulted in a new material that’s soft, grippy, flexible and lasts way longer than traditional suede. Try it—it’s guaranteed to keep great board feel and prevent shoes from blowing out much longer.
