This NY Yankees 80s Wordmark fitted by New Era kinda remindes me of the Care Bears, but yet i still sort of like it. Maybe its cause i was born in the early 80s. It kinda seemed like people didnt want to get out of the 60s yet with the whole stars and rainbows thing. Not to mention cartoons like The Smurfs and such were just beyond weird. Then there were the color changing shirts. But then again, half the country is watching a talking sponge these days. Anyway, back to the hat. We have only seen this hat in a NY Yankees style at the moment and its currently available at select New Era locations including Dr. Jays. The price over at Dr. Jays for these is $40.50. The 80s insprieded design features raised lettering, as well as a raised Yankees logo. The contrasting pink eyelits and underbrim really make the blue hat pop too. That is if you can do the whole pink thing. Theres always the purple one too, with various shades of purple.
