Nike Air Yeezy x Air Jordan VI – Doernbecher Charity Auction

As part of the Doernbecher Childrens Hospital Charity Auction, an auction to benefit the Doernbecher Childrens Hospital in Portland, Oregon, Nike, with a little bit of help from SoleCollector have donated this extremely rare 1 of a kind Air Yeezy which is sure to fetch some rather high figures for a good cause.

During the design process of the Air Yeezy, which took over two years, Mark Smith and the design team at Nikes Innovation Kitchen worked up various renditions of the Air Yeezy before finally settling on a final design. One of those vary designs is this pair of black on black Air Yeezys sitting ontop of a Air Jordan VI sole unit. The sneakers, which even Kanye West has not seen in person has been made in a size 12 and will include a custom lasered white box, along with one of the very first sketches of the Air Yeezy that Mark Smith did almost two years ago.

As we speak there are currently 35 bids on the sneakers with the highest bid current at $5,000. With five days remaining on the eBay Auction you can best believe that that number is sure to grow quite a bit. More detailed photos of the Air Yeezy x Air Jordan VI can be found after the jump.
