Thanks to MarqueeSole we have obtained some new images of the upcoming Black/Varsity Red Air Jordan 6 Retro. While a lot of people are calling these the Infrared Air Jordan 6 Retros that isnt really the case. The Infrared color which appeared on the original AJ6 has been replaced with Varsity Red. Those of you familiar with the OGs will notice the difference right off the bat. You will also notice that the upper is now made from black suede instead of black nubuck as on the Infrared AJ6. The translucent sole also appears to be more white compared to the somewhat off white color on the Infrareds.

No official release date as been announced at this time but we suspect the Air Jordan 6 Retro – Black/Varsity Red to hit Jordan Brand retailers sometime at the beginning of 2010. Click here to check out more pictures and stay tuned for further information.
