Here we have another pair of custom sneakers designed after Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreak album cover. This time its a pair of Air Force Ones designed by Mache and emmanueLabor who found influence from the alternate album cover KAWS designed for 808s & Heartbreak exclusively for iTunes. The alternate album cover displayed Kanye wearing his much talked about grey houndstooth suit along with signature graphics from KAWS. Mache worked on the back half of the sneaker making sure the signature KAWS graphics matched to a T and emmanueLabor did his thing on the front half adding the houndstooth fabric to the upper and the heart to the tongue. When all was said and done Kanye West himself was blessed with the custom sneakers.
