Jordan Brand teams up with the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for round 2 of a collaboration to help raise money for research and development at Doernbecher. Last year Jordan Brand and Doernbecher collaborated on an Air Jordan 1 Retro and this year brings us the Air Jordan VI Retro.
The Air Jordan VI Retro ‘Doernbecher Freestyle’ features a suede navy blue upper with a red tongue, heel tab and midsole, along with a gold satin inner lining and gold Jordan branding on the red tongue. The shoes use an interesting stitching pattern throughout the upper with an embossed 06’08 on the side panel. Finishing up the sneakers is a translucent outsole and ‘What Time Is It?’ and ‘Game Time!’ embroidered on the inside of each tongue. The whole design on this Air Jordan VI Retro was put together by patients of Doernbecher who happen to sneaker Air Jordan fans and your regular ol’ sneakerheads.
No exact release date has been released at this time but the sneakers are now available at MarqueeSole in limited sizes.
