This year the Quai 54, an annual streetball tournament held in Paris, France, will be taking place from June 27th to June 28th. Jordan Brand, one of the events sponsors, has put together the Ruff N Tuff Collection featuring an Air Jordan 1 and an Air Jordan Element.
Instead of filling up the main page with all the details about both of these sneakers we ask you to please click the jump to get all the information and plenty of detailed pictures.
First we’ll start with the Air Jordan 1. The Ruff N Tuff Air Jordan 1 sports a full-grain leather upper in laser blue which has a ‘cracked’ like effect to it to resemble the concrete street courts the Quai54 is played on. The Nike Swoosh is finished with black patent leather and the white mid-sole features a black speckle design. Further details include a design on the inner lining and underneath the icey clear outsole which clearly resembles the Georgetown Hoyas Kenta cloth and the Quai 54 logo on the tongue.
The Air Jordan Element on the other hands features its unique contoured cupsole performance technology, which features a translucent rubber outsole and a two-part EVA/Phylon midsole. The upper makes us of a combo of mesh, patent leather and black nubuck. If you look closely at the black nubuck paneling you can see that its been incorporated with a tonal elephant pattern. Its more visible in the detailed pictures shown after the jump. Finishing up the sneakers is a white speckle design right above the sole unit, the Quai 54 logo on the tongue and the designed inspired by the Georgetown Hoyas Kenta cloth on the inner lining.
This coming Saturday on June 20th both the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan Element will be released at House of Hoops and select retailers in Europe and Asia. The sneakers will not be released as a pack, they will sell separately with the The AJ1 going for $110 and the Jordan Element $125. Via: Freshness
