In honor of teams defeated, and sneakers worn during games in which Michael Jordan scored over 60 points Jordan Brand has put together the Air Jordan 60+ Pack. The 60+ Pack will include a range of various Air Jordans which MJ wore in the games in which he scored 60+ points. One of the release in the 60+ Pack will be this Air Jordan 7 Retro.
The Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro consists of the epic Black/Charcoal/True Red colorway which originally appeared on the Air Jordan VII “Raptor” back in 1992 and on the Air Jordan 7 Retro back in December 2002. These are the sneakers Jordan was wearing on January 16th, 1993 when he and the Chicago Bulls took on SHAQ and the Orlando Magic. Although Jordan and the Bulls went on to lose in overtime Jordan managed to knock down a total of 64 points, marking the game as one of his highest ever scoring achievements.
Watch for this Air Jordan 7 Black/Dark Charcoal/Team Red and a White/Varsity Royal Air Jordan 7 to hit select retailers on August 22nd, 2009 as part of the Jordan Brand Air Jordan 60+ Pack. Follow the jump for a few more pictures thanks to SneakerNews.
