Nike Air Force 1 Low – Armed Forces

If you recall the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Armed Forces’ from previous years you probably remember how the theme of the sneakers included the use of red, white and blue colorways which are pretty much a given and traditional. This year Nike took a whole different approach with the sneakers and went with a military like style design. The sneakers feature an olive colorup with a mixture of leather and nylon on the toe-box and side panels. A laser etched design is included on the heel and on the back heel tab instead of the usual Nike branding theres rows of ‘5 Stars’ to represent the rank of a five-star General in the Armed Forces. Wrapping up the design and breaking the color up nicely is a pair of white laces, a white mid-sole and an obsidian outsole.

The 2009 Nike Air Force 1 ‘Armed Forces’ was released this past weekend as a Quickstrike which was made available only at shops on military bases. If you happen to know somebody in the military hit em up now to see if they can get you a pair. Retail price on the bases goes for $85.
