The Asics GT II may not be seen as often as the Gel Lyte III, but whenever the shoes come around they defiantly know how to get our attention with some interesting colorways. For their Fall 2010 Collection Asics presents three new colorways of the GT II and being that they may be the only three we see for the next couple months, bold colorways are used throughout the collection, leaving a lasting impression until the next round comes along. The uppers are built using a variety of materials including suede, leather and nylon, and the color options offered are Red/Blue-Orange, Black/Purple-Red and Sax/Purple-Black.

All three are available now through mita and viewed in detail after the jump.

It was just a week ago when images of the Air Jordan 1 Anodized hit the web, Jordan Brand’s first foamposite-injected model, and already the sneakers are beginning to land in the hands of some of the more well connected resellers. The first pair popping up is the Air Jordan 1 Anodized “Cranberry” and the first reseller to get their paws on a few sizes is MarqueeSole. Fulfilling the “Cranberry” code name, the upper of the sneakers are smothered in Varsity Red foamposite. Accents of Black on the Air Jordan Wings logo, midsole, and inner lining add some balance to the tonal upper, while a splash of White fills the Jumpman tongue tag. Wrapping things up is an icey blue translucent outsole.

No official release date for the Air Jordan 1 Anodized “Cranberry” has been announced at this time, but if you’re willing to drop $260 MarqueeSole has a pair with your name on them.

Stevie Williams x ALIFE Everybody High America – Closer Look

Posted By Joe on Wednesday, September 1

While Stevie Williams’ skate label, Dirty Ghetto Kids, has a shoe deal of it’s own, Stevie himself does not. This leaves the door wide open for the pro-skater to wear and collaborate on any piece of footwear he desires. What he desires most is the Everybody High America from ALIFE, so when he was presented with the chance to design his own pair, there was no hesitation. Stevie took the opportunity to design the ALIFE Everybody High America in a color scheme honoring his hometown baseball team, the Philadelphia Phillies, using Grey suede and mesh throughout the upper with a slab of Red suede along the lateral side of the heel and additional accents of Red on the lining and toe bumper. Marking his work, Stevie had his signature embroidered along the toe.

Look for the Stevie Williams x ALIFE Everybody High America at select ALIFE distributors now, such as colette in Paris.

After catching a look at the sneakers on the cover of Sneaker Freaker’s 19th issue, we’ve now got a closer look at Jeremy Scott’s “Teddy Bear” sneakers. As part of his on-going adidas Originals by Originals Collection, Jeremy Scott looked to The Snuggle Bear, mascot of the Snuggle brand which makes fabric softeners, to help him create one of his most unusual sneaker thus far. And that says a lot considering this is the same guy who’s designed sneakers with three separate tongues. The plush sneakers, built on the frame of the adidas Metro Attitude and shown here in a women’s version of Pink/White, feature a fuzzy base with Snuggle’s head acting as a tongue and his arms seen extending out from the sides. Although not shown at this time, there’s word on a men’s version of the adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott “Teddy Bear” as well. And don’t worry guys, it won’t be in a girly Pink. The men’s version consists of a tan base similar to the color used for The Snuggle Bear.

Follow the jump to check out a few more pictures of the sneakers and watch for them to release next year during the Spring of 2011. Via: SneakerFreaker

With school about to be in session for another year, Nike Basketball will soon be releasing the second half of their school-inspired PE models. One of the first models that’ll see a release is the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Rice” which honors Rice High School in Harlem, NY. Shown here in the high school basketball team’s home colorway, the sneakers consists of a pure White base with subtle accents of Yellow and Green applied on elements such as the Swoosh, the branding and the outsole. In case you’re not able to put two and two together, RICE is emblazoned along the heel tab of the sneakers to remind you which Nike sponsored high school it was that inspired this Zoom Kobe V colorway. These follow-up on the Away PE of the Rice High School edition Zoom Kobe V which released back in March.

According to what we’ve heard, the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Rice” Home Version is set to release this coming weekend on Saturday, September 4th, 2010 through House of Hoops. A closer look at the sneakers follows after the jump, thanks to Kix-Files.
