The Fresh&Fly Customs crew just hit me up with some images of a brand new pair of custom kicks one of the members recently finished up. From Desp1 of Fresh&Fly CustomsĀ comes this Nike Dynasty Hi dubbed “Ele’Mint”. Starting with a pair of Quickstrike Dynasty Hi’s Desp1 went about giving the sneakers a two-tone Grey base with an elephant print included on the lace and toe panels, and heel strip. He then
added in some black on the toe cap and heel panel. Jumping right out at ya are nice hits of Mint on the Swoosh and quarter heel. The detailing used within the elephant is crazy. I gotta give my respect to Desp1 for that. A lot of attention to detail is shown there, and it’s defiantly made up for a pair of custom sneakers which I personally feel could pass for an official Nike release. Well done Desp1.
If your lucky enough to wear a size 9.5 and your interested in buying the Nike Dynasty Hi “Ele’Mint” Custom designed by Desp1 you can get em now through eBay. Throw in a bid or BIN for $160 and call it a day. Keep in mind these will never be reproduced so if your feeling em and can fit em don’t pass em up. Click here if you need to get a closer look before making a final call.

A couple weeks ago we caught our first look at the Supra Skytop “Heartbreaker”, the Valentines Day themed released from none other then Supra Footwear. Now that Valentines Day is closing in upon us we’ve been provided with another preview of the Heartbreakers. For those of you who don’t already know and may have not seen our previous post this specific Skytop features an entirely red upper constructed from canvas merely accented by the usual white rubber sole with a keychain tag of a heart split into two halves. Factory413, the retailer in which the Skytop “Heartbreaker” will be releasing at hasn’t announced an exact release date just yet but they’ve mentioned that the shoes are coming soon so keep your eyes open for them to drop any day now.

While attending the Class at ASR Tradeshow in San Diego CtotheJL had the opportunity to preview a few of the upcoming releases from Radii Footwear and supplied us with some shots of this upcoming cork inspired design. If I’m not mistaken I believe this is an entirely new model being added to the Radii Footwear collection so I’m not quite sure what it’s exact name is at this time, nor do I have any idea when they will actually be released. I’m sure this cork design won’t be the only version which Radii Footwear releases though seeing as how all their other models are available in a slew of colorways.
Personally speaking I can’t get down with this cork board look at all, it’s just to outlandish for me. Some of ya’ll are into that though, so if you’re one of those Wild & Crazy Kids click here to peep some more shots and stay tuned for further details and photos of other color schemes releasing in the future.

While the best in the league head down to Dallas, Texas for the 2010 NBA All-Star Game there will also be a boat load of A-list and B-list celebrities in tow heading down to Cowboy Stadium to partake in the Celebrity All-Star Game. Ensuring they’ve got some fresh kicks to wear adidas Consortium stepped up to the plate and designed these Artillery Mid’s for the participants of both teams. The sneakers feature heavy detailing with one sporting a predominantly blue color scheme obviously for the East and the other in a predominantly red color scheme for the West. All your usual Artillery features are included such as the Torsion system and the padded ankle support which is sure to sport a lot of those weak celebrity ankles. Heavy detailing is seen throughout with an All-Star 2010 stamp on the heel, a NBA man logo on the lateral side of the upper in the shape of the Texas, and another All-Star 2010 hit on the Artillery tongue tag. There’s also iridescent detailing on the tongue and on a small piece of the heel.
Usually releases such as these don’t hit retailers and are only sold within the NBA All-Star Weekend venue however for the first time a very limited run will land in the hands of distributors outside the Dallas venue. Only 10 pairs of both the East and West versions will be made available to 5 selected adidas Consortium distributors while a total of 150 pairs will be available at Cowboy Stadium during NBA All-Star Weekend. Click here for a closer look at both sneakers.

The news you have all been waiting for. The official release date for the Copper Foamposites. Last week it was announced the Foamposite One “Copper” was being delayed and would not be released this coming weekend on February 13th. Rumors started swirling around the web about how it possibly had to do with the snow storm sweeping the nation, or how there was a contract issue between Penny and Nike, or how the Air Jordan 2010 is set to release on the same day and how Nike wouldn’t dare release the Foams on the day the AJ2010 drops. Needless to say it was just all speculation and nobody really knew the truth but it sure did keep us entertained hearing all the various reasons people had as to why the Copper Foams were pushed back.
Whatever the case may have been we have now gotten word that the Nike Air Foamposite One “Copper” is back on for a February 13th release. That’s right folks, February 13th, 2010, as originally intended. Hope you didn’t spend that money on something else yet.
Was Nike possibly playing with our feelings? Or maybe building up even more hype on the sneakers? I don’t know, but what I do know is that a lot of you are about to be pumped when you read this and hear that the Nike Air Foamposite One “Copper” is back on for it’s intended February 13th, 2010 release.
